We’re working with an established independent estate agency in Bristol who are looking to recruit a Sales Negotiator to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career within estate agency and learn the residential sales process from an experienced team.

You don’t need previous estate agency experience. They’re much more interested in finding someone personable, professional and motivated, with strong customer service skills and a genuine interest in property.

The role will give you exposure to all areas of residential sales, from speaking with buyers and arranging viewings through to negotiating offers and helping progress sales through to completion.

The Role

You’ll gradually build your knowledge of the residential sales process while getting involved across the office, including:

• Registering buyers and handling property enquiries

• Building relationships with buyers and understanding their requirements

• Booking appointments and property viewings

• Conducting viewings and gathering feedback

• Keeping in regular contact with buyers and sellers

• Assisting with offers and negotiations

• Supporting sales through to completion

• Managing the office diary, keys and property information

• Providing general support to the wider sales team

• Helping ensure clients receive an excellent level of service throughout

About You

Previous estate agency experience isn’t required. You may currently work within customer service, sales, hospitality, financial services or another professional client-facing environment and be looking for an opportunity to move into property.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, confident and personable

• Professional with excellent communication skills

• Comfortable speaking with clients both over the phone and face-to-face

• Organised, reliable and able to manage a busy workload

• Proactive and willing to learn

• Naturally good at building relationships

• Motivated to develop a career within estate agency

• Genuinely interested in property and the Bristol market

• A full UK driving licence holder
