Job DescriptionWe are now seeking a full-time Scheduler to join our dedicated team in our Ivybridge office. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our ethos of delivering outstanding care is consistently upheld. This role involves planning and organising schedules that are both efficient and adaptable, meeting the needs of our growing client base while supporting the working requirements of our Care Professionals. You will work closely with the Registered Care Manager to ensure we continue to meet our business objectives and maintain the highest standards of service.QualificationsOur ideal candidate:Experience of working in a scheduling role within a home care provider, or other relevant environment.Previous experience in the care industry as a caregiver, senior carer or team leader roleGood working knowledge of care management systems and Microsoft Office, with the aptitude to learn and embrace new technologies.Excellent communication skills, with a positive, resilient, and solution-focused approach.Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to remain calm, accurate, and effective under pressure.A collaborative and supportive team-focused attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, use initiative, and meet deadlines.A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle, as occasional client visits may be required as part of the on-call support rota.Key responsibilities:Ensure schedules are prepared, considering travel time, holidays, training, and last-minute cancellationsBe responsive to changes in the schedule and liaise with relevant team members and clientsMatch Care Professionals to new clients in conjunction with client services team and arrange introductionsEnsure client schedules are matched to their needs, with the same Care Professional and the same times each week, where possibleDevelop excellent relationships with both clients and Care Professionals so both can enjoy positive experiencesWork with the recruitment team to ensure sufficient current and future staffing levels are metWork with the Care Team to ensure new and existing care packages can be resourced and scheduled on a timely basisAdd and maintain all client and Care Professional information onto to the electronic scheduling systemReconcile visits to ensure the smooth running of billing and adding expenses to clients’ invoicesCarry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the businessEnsure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service deliveryVisit clients when needed as part of on call supportLiaise with clients and their families to ensure we provide exceptional customer careBe part of our Evening and Weekend On-call working rota 1:5 Additional InformationWhy choose to work WITH us at Home Instead Ivybridge?Employee Benefits Scheme - with discounts on shopping, restaurants and moreFree membership to the Employee Assistance Programme, which gives you 24/7 access to one-to-one counselling, legal advice and support, self-help and well-being informationYou will have a tailored Professional development plan and ongoing training to enable you to develop your professional knowledge and career development within Home Instead.City and Guilds accredited Dementia training, Specialist Parkinson's Training and End of Life support to enable you to support clients confidently and develop your careerWork with a supportive team in a great locationNo two days are the same - you’ll be challenged in a good way, and your knowledge will expand daily.What happens next?Apply now and one of our friendly team will be in touch with you within 24-48 hoursWe will arrange an interview with you at our office, where you will also need to complete a scheduling taskIf you’re successful, you can be working with us ASAPCongratulations!
