Job Description
To coordinate and schedule repairs and maintenance works, ensuring jobs are allocated efficiently, completed within agreed timescales and customers receive a high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities for Scheduler
- Schedule and allocate repairs and maintenance jobs to operatives and contractors based on priority, location, skills and availability.
- Monitor outstanding repairs and ensure works are completed within agreed timescales and service standards.
- Liaise with residents, contractors, operatives and internal teams to arrange appointments and resolve scheduling issues.
- Update repairs and maintenance systems accurately with job details, appointments, progress and completion information.
- Prioritise emergency, urgent and routine repairs in line with relevant policies and procedures.
- Rearrange appointments and respond promptly to cancellations, delays and changes to works.
- Monitor contractor and operative performance, escalating missed appointments, delays and service issues where required.
- Provide accurate information and updates to customers regarding repair appointments and progress.
- Assist with maintaining accurate records, reports and performance information for the Repairs & Maintenance team.
- Ensure all scheduling activities comply with relevant health and safety requirements, housing legislation, policies and procedures.
