📍 Bow, East London (close to Bow Road & Mile End stations)

Start Date: Next Week Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, Term Time Only plus Inset Days DBS Requirement: Enhanced DBS essential!

We are seeking an experienced School Administrator to join a welcoming and busy school based in Bow, East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and professional administrator with previous school-based experience to support the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

Key Responsibilities

Providing comprehensive administrative support to the School Leadership Team (SLT) Managing front-of-house reception duties and acting as a welcoming first point of contact for parents, carers, visitors, and staff Maintaining accurate records using school MIS systems, including Arbor Supporting HR administration processes Assisting with SEND administration and record management Coordinating school trips and after-school clubs Producing and editing school communications, including newsletters Ensuring all safeguarding procedures and requirements are adhered to at all times

Requirements

Previous experience working within a school office environment Strong working knowledge of school MIS systems, particularly Arbor Excellent administrative and organisational skills Experience supporting senior leadership teams Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Experience with HR administration Knowledge of SEND administration Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced school environment Enhanced DBS (Essential)
