Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour depending on experience
Contract Type: Temporary
Location: Gateshead
Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, term time onlyKey Responsibilities:
As the School Administrator, you will be the friendly face and voice of our school. Your role will include:
First Point of Contact: Greet parents, staff, and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Telephone Management: Efficiently handle incoming calls, ensuring inquiries are addressed and messages are relayed promptly.
Administrative Support: Provide essential assistance across various departments, helping to keep the school running smoothly.
Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using our internal systems, ensuring information is readily accessible.
Reception Duties: Cover reception as needed, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who enters.
Prioritisation and Accuracy: Manage a varied workload while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.A DBS and stringent compliance checks will be conducted before the role begins. If you already hold a DBS Check on the current Update Service, that's a plus!
What We're Looking For:
Previous administration experience, ideally within an educational setting.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficiency in IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
