School Finance Assistant (SAGE Intacct Experience Essential)

London E14 Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:00 Weekly Rolling Contract

Are you an organised and proactive Finance Assistant with experience using SAGE Intaact and a passion for keeping financial processes running smoothly? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a busy and supportive school finance team in East London (E14) on a weekly rolling contract.

Working closely with the Finance Manager , Trust Financial Controller , and Senior Leadership Team , you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the school. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a collaborative environment where your attention to detail and finance expertise will make a real difference.

• Raising requisitions and converting them into Purchase Orders using Sage Intaact , following approval procedures
• Processing invoices for monthly BACS payments
• Managing the shared finance inbox and responding to staff and supplier queries
• Setting up and maintaining supplier records on the system
• Placing orders and ensuring accurate financial records
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc finance and administrative duties

We're looking for:

• Previous Finance Assistant or similar finance administration experience
• Working knowledge of SAGE Intaact
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage workloads effectively and work accurately under pressure
• Experience within education would be advantageous but is not essential

Important: Applicants must be willing to complete the registration process and hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service .
