I am working with a well-established Trust to recruit a Finance Officer to support their busy finance team. This is a full-time temporary opportunity with an immediate start, perfect for an experienced finance or administration professional looking for their next role within education.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process purchase invoices, orders, and supplier payments
Support sales ledger and credit control activities
Carry out bank reconciliations and financial transactions
Assist with payroll administration and expense claims
Maintain accurate financial records and finance systems
Respond to finance-related queries from schools and suppliers
Support month-end processes and ensure compliance with financial procedures
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Previous finance, accounts, or finance administration experience
Good knowledge of Excel and financial systems
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
The ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
School or education sector experience is desirable but not essential
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
