Pertemps are delighted to be working with our public sector client to recruit for School Lunch Assistants on an ad hoc temporary basis.
?? Role: School Lunch Assistant (Ad Hoc)
?? Location: Across Edinburgh
?? Pay: £13.66 per hour
?? Hours: Monday to Thursday (Hours can differ dependent on location but typically 10:00-14:00)
?? Duration: Temporary Ongoing (This is a part-time, term-time position)
?? Start Date: ASAP
This role requires a PVG Certificate (£59 for a new application or £18 to update an existing certificate).

- Help prepare and serve tasty, nutritious school meals
- Provide friendly, helpful service to pupils and staff
- Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and safe
- Work in a supportive and welcoming team
- Approachable, dependable and a team player
- Basic food hygiene knowledge (helpful but not essential)
- Able to stay calm and organised during busy periods
