Science remains an important area of recruitment for schools, and we are keen to hear from teachers specialising in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or general Science .

The role

Depending on the opportunity, you could be teaching KS3 Science , GCSE Science or individual Biology, Chemistry or Physics courses at KS4 and KS5.

You may be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of individual students
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour
• Assessing and monitoring student progress
• Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations where appropriate
• Working collaboratively with Science department colleagues

We're looking for:

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• A relevant Science degree or teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for Science and student achievement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
