This is an excellent opportunity for a Secondary Science Teacher, Teacher of Science or experienced A Level teacher looking to take their teaching career overseas.

The school delivers a British curriculum and is seeking a passionate Science teacher who can inspire students across GCSE and A Level Science, with specialist knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics particularly welcomed.

The Role

*

Teach Science across Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level

*

Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured Science lessons

*

Teach within your specialist subject area – Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics

*

Prepare students for GCSE and A Level examinations

*

Assess, track and monitor student progress and attainment

*

Develop practical, investigative and laboratory-based Science activities

*

Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development

*

Support students with different abilities and learning needs

*

Participate in school trips, extracurricular activities, clubs and wider school life

*

Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive international teaching team

Requirements

*

QTS or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification

*

Experience teaching Secondary Science

*

Experience teaching GCSE Science and/or A Level

*

Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics

*

Experience teaching within a British curriculum environment

*

Strong classroom management and lesson-planning skills

*

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

*

A flexible, resilient and adaptable approach to working overseas

*

Previous international teaching experience is welcomed but not essential

About the School

You will be joining a British curriculum school serving an international community of pupils. The school provides a supportive environment for teachers and offers the opportunity to continue developing professionally while experiencing life overseas.

The role would suit a Science Teacher, Secondary Science Teacher, Teacher of Science, A Level Science Teacher, GCSE Science Teacher, Biology Teacher, Chemistry Teacher or Physics Teacher with experience of teaching within the UK education system.
