Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent Start Date: September 2026 / ASAP Contract: Temporary to Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience
We are currently seeking a Science Teacher to join a successful and supportive secondary school in Tunbridge Wells, with an immediate or September start available.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher looking for a temporary-to-permanent position, with the potential to secure a permanent role within the school.
The Role
Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons Supporting students to achieve strong academic progress Creating a positive and purposeful classroom environment Monitoring student progress and providing effective feedback Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team Contributing to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong subject knowledge in Science Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting High expectations of student behaviour and achievement A positive, professional and adaptable approach Passionate about inspiring students and helping them reach their potentialECTs are welcome to apply, alongside experienced Science Teachers and those currently working on a temporary or supply basis who are looking for a permanent opportunity.
