Full-Time | 5 Days per Week | Lewisham

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Science Technician to join a welcoming and supportive school in Lewisham.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science Technician with previous experience working in a school or laboratory environment. A relevant degree is preferred, alongside a strong understanding of science practicals, laboratory procedures, and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and set up practical experiments and demonstrations across Science subjects. Maintain and organise laboratories, equipment, chemicals and resources. Support teaching staff and students during practical lessons. Ensure all laboratory activities comply with health and safety requirements. Manage stock levels and order equipment and materials when required. Maintain accurate records and ensure equipment is safe and ready for use. Contribute to a positive, organised and engaging learning environment.

About You

Previous experience as a Science Technician is essential. Strong knowledge of Science and practical laboratory procedures. A relevant degree or qualification is preferred. Good understanding of laboratory health and safety. Organised, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
