Science Technician (Physics) - Temporary

Working for a well-established school based in Reading, this temporary Science Technician (Physics) position is working 28 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, and is paying approximately £14.40-£15.00 per hour, depending on experience.

This is an ASAP start, providing temporary cover within the Science department.

Duties

Prepare and set up equipment and apparatus for Physics lessons Support practical lessons and examination practicals Maintain and organise laboratory equipment Provide day-to-day support to Physics teaching staff Assist across other Science subjects when required Ensure equipment and practical areas are prepared safely and efficientlyExperience required:

Previous laboratory, Science Technician or relevant practical experience A Physics, Engineering or Electronics background would be advantageous Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Confident working both independently and as part of a team Comfortable working within a school environmentThis role is subject to the relevant safeguarding and Enhanced DBS checks
