Science Technician

18.5 - 22.2 hours per week (to be discussed at interview). To be worked Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Term time only. Salary Grade D (points 4-6 - £25,185 - £25,989 FTE). (Actual pay starting at £10,795 per annum).

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, materials and resources for practical lessons.
• Maintain laboratories and preparation areas.
• Support health and safety procedures.
• Assist with stock control and equipment maintenance.
• Work closely with teaching staff and the Senior Science Technician to ensure practical science activities are delivered safely and effectively.
