Job Description
As a Science Technician, you will join a dedicated team of science technicians and teachers and play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth and effective running of the Science Department. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical lessons; supporting health and safety procedures; maintaining laboratories; and ensuring students have access to resources required to excel.

- Commencing September/October 2026 Contract: Permanent, 25 hours per week Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 10.00 - 3.30 daily, term time only (less 30 minutes unpaid lunch daily)
- occasional additional hours may be requested to assist with open evenings etc
- Salary: H3 5-6 (Fringe) £25,583- £25,989 + £729 FTE, £14,878 - £15,107 actual pro-rata (25 hours per week) paid over 12 months
