Second Engineer – Containership (Onboard)

V.Group is seeking a Second Engineer for a containership, with a mid-August start date. This contract position is onboard and reports to the Chief Engineer, sharing responsibility for the engine department while the Chief is absent.

The role entails organizing daily operations, supervising junior engineers and ratings, preparing main propulsion for sea, maintaining auxiliary and deck machinery, and ensuring cleanliness and structural integrity of machinery spaces.
