About the Role

Our client is searching for a dedicated and passionate Secondary School Mathematics Teacher to join a thriving department in Coventry . You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging mathematics lessons across various age groups, inspiring students to develop a strong understanding and appreciation for the subject. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons tailored to the needs of secondary school students.
• Assess student progress through regular coursework, tests, and examinations, providing timely feedback.
• Develop innovative teaching materials and methodologies to make mathematics engaging and accessible.
• Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with other members of the mathematics department to share best practices and resources.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events as required.

Requirements

• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.) with Mathematics specialization.
• Eligible for or holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching mathematics to Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially A-Level).
• Strong understanding of curriculum requirements and examination syllabi.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
