About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Secondary School Mathematics Teacher to join a thriving department in Coventry . You will be responsible for inspiring students from Year 7 to Year 11, cultivating their understanding and appreciation for mathematics. This role requires a teacher who can effectively differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, promote critical thinking, and prepare students for GCSE examinations, contributing to a culture of academic rigor and supportive learning within the school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to secondary school students.
• Develop curriculum plans and resources to support mathematical learning.
• Assess student performance through regular testing and coursework, providing constructive feedback.
• Identify students requiring additional support and implement targeted interventions.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and departmental initiatives.

Requirements

• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) and QTS.
• Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics education.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young learners.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
