Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver outstanding mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Set and mark assignments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students.
- Monitor student progress and attainment, identifying areas of concern and implementing intervention strategies.
- Contribute to the wider curriculum development and extracurricular activities within the mathematics department.
- Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student well-being and academic achievement.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student welfare.
