Key Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially Key Stage 5.
• Design and implement effective schemes of work and lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Monitor student performance, provide timely feedback, and set challenging targets for improvement.
• Contribute to the development of innovative teaching strategies within the mathematics department.
• Organize and supervise extracurricular mathematics clubs or competitions.

Requirements

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.) with QTS.
• Demonstrable experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
• In-depth knowledge of the mathematics curriculum and examination requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
