Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging mathematics lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Set and mark homework, coursework, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Foster a stimulating and challenging learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore mathematical concepts.
- Utilise a range of teaching methodologies and resources, including digital tools, to enhance student understanding.
- Contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum development, and whole-school initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, attainment, and behaviour.
Requirements
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Certificate in Education) with QTS.
- Demonstrable experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level in the UK .
- In-depth understanding of the national mathematics curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using educational technology to support teaching and learning.
