Teaching Personnel is recruiting secondary teaching assistants for schools across Horsham and Crawley for September 2026. These are full-time roles for motivated, enthusiastic individuals who want to make a real difference to the lives of secondary-aged students — whether that's helping a student finally grasp a concept they've been struggling with, or simply being the consistent, supportive adult they look forward to seeing each day.

What you'll be doing
- Supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in classroom and intervention settings, working alongside subject teachers.
- Providing targeted support to students who need additional help with learning, concentration, confidence or behaviour.
- Assisting with revision, exam preparation and structured intervention programmes.
- Building positive, professional relationships with students that motivate and encourage them to achieve.
- Supporting pastoral and behaviour teams where needed, acting as a trusted and consistent presence.
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with teachers and support staff.
Who we're looking for
- A motivated, positive and professional individual who enjoys working with secondary-aged students.
- Experience in a school, youth work, support or care setting is beneficial, though a genuine passion for education and young people is equally valued.
