Spencer Clarke Group is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Lancashire, Blackpool, Fylde Coast, Preston, Blackburn, Chorley, South Ribble, Wigan, Bolton and Greater Manchester who are looking to appoint talented teachers for long-term supply roles starting in September 2026.

Cover Supervisors and General Cover TeachersAs a Long-Term Supply Teacher, you'll become an integral member of the school community, delivering engaging lessons while enjoying the flexibility that supply teaching offers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-led lessons.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress.
Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Contributing to departmental meetings, parents' evenings and wider school life where required.We're keen to speak with teachers who have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Passion for inspiring young people to achieve their potential.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.ECTs are encouraged to apply.
