Secondary Tutor - Anglesey

Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Prospero Teaching are recruiting for an enthusiastic Secondary Tutor to provide individualised educational support to a learner in Anglesey.

We are looking for an educator who can work independently, build a positive rapport with the learner and deliver structured sessions that are adapted to their academic level and learning style.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 1:1 secondary tuition
• Plan lessons around individual learning objectives
• Support development across core subjects
• Adapt resources and teaching strategies
• Encourage positive engagement with education
• Develop learner confidence and independence
• Monitor and report on progress

Requirements

• Previous experience teaching or tutoring secondary-aged learners
• Strong subject knowledge
• Experience delivering 1:1 support desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Organised, flexible and patient approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to Work in the UK
• Two professional child-related references
