Pay rate: £400 - £480/day (IR35 determination TBC)

Job Description

TRIbuild Solutions are recruiting a Section Engineer or Senior Engineer for a civils package on a water/stage treatment site in Selborne, Hampshire. The works are predominantly trenching and small reinforced concrete (RC) structures, and the successful candidate will take a lead technical role overseeing a section of the site team.

This is a freelance position running until April 2027, suited to a candidate with strong civils engineering experience looking for a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the technical delivery of a defined section, covering trenching and RC structures Supervising and mentoring Site Engineers within the section Reviewing and approving setting-out, quality checks, and as-built records Coordinating with the wider project team on programme, resources, and technical queries Ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and health & safety requirementsRequirements:
