About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and engaging Security Awareness Trainer to develop and deliver impactful training programs designed to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices. This part-time, fully remote role is crucial for fostering a security-conscious culture within the organization and reducing human-related security risks. You will have the autonomy to design engaging content and deliver it through various online formats, making cybersecurity accessible and understandable to all staff members.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop engaging and informative training materials on cybersecurity topics (e.g., phishing, password security, data handling).
• Deliver security awareness training sessions through online platforms, webinars, and e-learning modules.
• Create and manage regular security awareness campaigns, including newsletters and quizzes.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and adapt content based on feedback and evolving threats.
• Collaborate with IT and HR departments to ensure training aligns with company policies and compliance requirements.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends relevant to employee education.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in a cybersecurity context.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language.
• Familiarity with current cybersecurity threats and best practices.
• Experience with e-learning development tools is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
