Security Awareness Trainer

About the Role

Our client is looking for an engaging and knowledgeable Security Awareness Trainer to develop and deliver training programs across their organisation, based remotely but with occasional travel to Sheffield . This role is pivotal in educating employees about cybersecurity threats, safe online practices, and company security policies. You will be responsible for creating compelling training materials and delivering impactful sessions that foster a security-conscious culture throughout the company. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engaging security awareness training content, including presentations, e-learning modules, and phishing simulations.
• Deliver training sessions to employees across various departments and levels of the organisation.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and adapt them based on feedback and evolving threats.
• Promote a positive security culture and act as a point of contact for employee security queries.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices in security awareness.

Requirements

• Experience in delivering training, preferably with a focus on cybersecurity or information security.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical security concepts into easily understandable language for a non-technical audience.
• Creative and resourceful in developing engaging training materials.
• A passion for cybersecurity and educating others.
