About the Role
Our client is looking for an engaging and knowledgeable Security Awareness Trainer to join their team remotely. This role is dedicated to educating employees across the organisation on cybersecurity best practices and fostering a security-conscious culture. You will develop and deliver training materials, conduct phishing simulations, and stay updated on the latest threats to create effective awareness programs. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security awareness training program.
- Create engaging training content, including presentations, workshops, and e-learning modules.
- Deliver regular training sessions to employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Design and execute simulated phishing campaigns and analyse results.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of security awareness initiatives.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and best practices for user education.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Education, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity awareness, training, or a related field.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, common threats (e.g., phishing, social engineering), and best practices.
- Experience in developing training materials and using e-learning platforms is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple training initiatives.
