Job Role: Security Officer
WorkingHours: 38 hours per week, as per site rota – shiftpattern consists of a rotation between 07:00–15:00 and 15:00–23:00
Pay: £14.80per hour

About the Role
As a Security Officer, you'll be atthe forefront of safety and customer service across this exciting newdestination. Working across retail, residential and public spaces, you'll carryout patrols, respond to incidents, support visitors and residents, and helpmaintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone who visits The Elephant.
You'll be a visible ambassador forboth Anchor Group Services and The Elephant, demonstrating professionalism,integrity and excellent customer service at all times.
Duties Include:
- Protect people, property and assets inaccordance with site procedures and Assignment Instructions.
- Conduct regular patrols across retail,residential and public areas, identifying and reporting any security or safetyconcerns.
- Provide a visible, professional andreassuring presence for residents, visitors, retailers and contractors.
- Respond promptly and effectively toincidents, emergencies and requests for assistance.
- Monitor access control, challengeunauthorised persons and ensure site security procedures are followed.
- Manage and de-escalate incidentsinvolving anti-social behaviour, suspicious activity or conflict.
- Operate CCTV systems and othersecurity equipment where authorised.
- Complete accurate incident reports,occurrence logs and electronic records.
- Support planned events, communityactivities and promotional initiatives across the development.
- Liaise professionally with emergencyservices, local authorities and other stakeholders when required.
- Deliver excellent customer service byassisting visitors and providing information where needed.
- Maintain issuedequipment, radios and uniform standards whilst promoting professionalism at alltimes.
Requirements
- Essential: Validfrontline SIA Door Supervisor (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) Licence.
- Desirable: CCTVLicence and/or Previous CCTV/Control Room experience.
- Full 5-year checkable employment history.
- Previous security experience within retail,corporate, residential or public-facing environments.
- Customer service experience and confidencehandling conflict professionally.
- Ability to remain calm and professional underpressure.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible approach to shift work including weekendsand bank holidays.
- Professional appearance and high personalstandards.
