Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from various sources, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security tools.
• Investigate potential security incidents, analyze log data, and identify indicators of compromise (IOCs).
• Perform initial triage of security alerts, escalating critical incidents to senior analysts or incident response teams.
• Assist in the development and refinement of security monitoring rules and procedures.
• Contribute to threat intelligence gathering and analysis to proactively identify emerging threats.
• Maintain accurate documentation of security incidents and investigation findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a SOC environment, IT security, or network operations role.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack) and security monitoring concepts.
• Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common cyber attack methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
