A welcoming primary school in Tewkesbury is looking for a caring and resilient SEMH and Wellbeing Support Assistant to support pupils who need additional help with their social, emotional and mental health development.
This is an excellent opportunity for Psychology graduates, aspiring teachers, counsellors, youth workers, or anyone looking to gain valuable experience supporting children with additional needs.
What You'll Be Doing
As an SEMH and Wellbeing Support Assistant
Providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEMH need
Supporting children with anxiety, emotional regulation and confidence-building
Delivering small-group interventions focused on wellbeing and social skills
Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Building trusted relationships that help children thrive
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teamsWhy Apply?
