SEMH Support Worker / Teaching Assistant

Are you experienced in supporting young people with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour or trauma, or do you have a background in care, residential support, youth work or security?

Aspire People are looking for dedicated SEMH Support Staff to work in specialist schools across Wolverhampton, Bilston and surrounding areas.

We're interested in people from backgrounds including:

Residential Support Workers & Care Workers Youth Workers & Sports Coaches Ex-Forces, Police, Prison Officers & Security Teaching Assistants with behaviour experience Psychology graduates & aspiring teachers

What you'll be supporting:

Young people with SEMH, ADHD, autism and complex behavioural needs. Emotional regulation, positive behaviour and engagement in learning. Building trusting relationships and helping pupils develop confidence.

What we're looking for:

Experience supporting children or young people, ideally in an SEMH, care, education or behavioural setting. Resilience, patience and a consistent approach to behaviour management. A genuine interest in helping young people succeed.
