SEN Classroom Assistant
Location: Newham (East London)
Rate: £(Apply online only) per day
SEN Classroom Assistant – Remedy Education is looking for a classroom assistant to provide support within an SEN school. The students range from mild to severe, including non‑verbal and communication‑challenged learners who need extra support for the curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support for students with a range of SEN needs.
- Assist with communication and curriculum support as required.
- Support personal care activities such as toileting, dressing, and feeding.
Qualifications
- Experience with Visuals, Makaton, PECS, or Phonics preferred.
- Comfortable with personal care duties.
- Enhanced Child and Adult DBS certificate.
The role is full‑time, starting in September, with a high potential to become permanent.
