Job Description
SEN Learning Support Assistant
Are you a highly academic graduate with a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs? Maybe you already have experience working with individuals with SEND, and you wish to work in a mainstream setting to support those who need it most?
Qualifications
- UK Bachelor's degree
- Excellent understanding of core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
- Experience supporting young people – this could be through tutoring, university mentoring schemes, youth work, or similar
- Experience working with students with SEND is highly desirable
- Aspiring to train as a teacher in the future (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Support in either a primary or secondary mainstream school
- Assist pupils with ASD, PMLD, ADHD
Role Details
Long term, full time role in the same school for the full academic year.
