SEN Learning Support Assistant
Are you a highly academic graduate with a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs? Maybe you already have experience working with individuals with SEND and wish to work in a mainstream setting to support those who need it most?
What we’re looking for
- UK Bachelor's degree
- Excellent understanding of core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
- Experience supporting young people – this could be through tutoring, university mentoring schemes, youth work, or similar
- Experience working with students with SEND is highly desirable
- Aspiring to train as a teacher in the future (desirable)
The role
Long‑term, full‑time role in the same school for the full academic year.
Support in either a primary or secondary mainstream school.
Assist pupils with ASD, PMLD, ADHD.
Leeds location.
