Outreach SEN Tutor - Southend -15 hours a week per student
Location: Southend on Sea - Essex
Position: Outreach Tutor (Special Educational Needs)
Contract Type: 15 hours per week per student.
Salary: £30/35 per hour
We are looking for dedicated and experienced SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one outreach tuition to children and young people in Southend-on-Sea.
This is an excellent opportunity for a tutor who is passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them build confidence, develop their skills and make positive progress.
We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), qualified tutor or relevant teaching experience
Experience working with children or young people with SEN
Experience with challenging behaviour, SEMH, ASD, ADHD or other additional needs would be advantageous
A patient, flexible and nurturing approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
The ability to work independently and provide engaging one-to-one tuition
A current DBS or willingness to undergo the appropriate safeguarding checks
