SEN Specialist Tutor Required (Face-to-Face)

Year 11 Student | Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire | Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Specialist Tutor to provide face-to-face educational support for a Year 11 student in the Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated tutor who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their academic potential.

Position Details

• Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: 3 hours per week
• Delivery: Face-to-face tuition at local library
• Subjects: Functional Skills English & Maths

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• A strong understanding of strategies for engaging learners who may present with additional learning, emotional, behavioural, or social needs.
• The ability to build positive, trusting relationships and adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience working with secondary-aged students, particularly at Key Stage 4 level, is desirable.

Essential Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Relevant teaching, tutoring, SEN, or educational support experience.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Reliable transport and ability to travel to Aylesbury for face-to-face sessions.
