SEN Specialist Tutor Required (Face-to-Face)
Year 11 Student | Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire | Immediate Start
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Specialist Tutor to provide face-to-face educational support for a Year 11 student in the Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated tutor who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their academic potential.
Position Details
- Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: 3 hours per week
- Delivery: Face-to-face tuition at local library
- Subjects: Functional Skills English & Maths
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- A strong understanding of strategies for engaging learners who may present with additional learning, emotional, behavioural, or social needs.
- The ability to build positive, trusting relationships and adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience working with secondary-aged students, particularly at Key Stage 4 level, is desirable.
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Relevant teaching, tutoring, SEN, or educational support experience.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Reliable transport and ability to travel to Aylesbury for face-to-face sessions.
