Location: Lambeth, South West London
Pay: £100-£120 per day
Contract: Full-Time | September Start | Long-Term
SEN Support Assistant
Milk Education are working with an inclusive mainstream primary school in Lambeth who are looking for a caring and committed SEN Support Assistant to join their team from September.
This is a classroom-based role supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them access the curriculum alongside their peers.
The Role
- Support pupils with additional learning needs within the classroom.
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required.
- Help pupils access lessons and classroom activities.
- Reinforce learning through practical and structured activities.
- Support communication and social development.
- Encourage independence and positive behaviour.
- Work alongside the class teacher and SENDCo.
- Contribute to a calm and inclusive classroom environment.
About You
- Previous experience supporting children is desirable.
- SEN experience would be advantageous.
- Patient, calm and nurturing approach.
- Confident supporting pupils with different needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Passionate about inclusive education.
