SEN Teacher – QTS Location: Slough (SL1 1AA) Salary: £180 – £250 per day Contract: Monday – Friday Start Date: ASAP
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher with QTS looking for a rewarding opportunity in a specialist school setting?
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in the Slough area, supporting children and young people with additional needs within a nurturing, personalised learning environment.
The school provides specialist education for pupils with autism and a range of additional needs, with teaching tailored to each pupil’s individual abilities and learning needs.
The Role
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs. Support pupils with autism and additional learning needs. Create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment. Use creative and personalised approaches to encourage engagement and progress. Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and the wider school team. Monitor pupil progress and contribute to individualised learning plans. Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and support their social, emotional and academic development. Promote independence, communication and confidence. The Ideal Candidate QTS is essential. Experience working with children or young people with SEN/autism is highly desirable. A patient, caring and adaptable approach. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to differentiate learning and respond to individual needs. Passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential.
