The Role - SEN Teacher

I am recruiting for an experienced SEN Teacher to teach a small class of 6 children with complex needs. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons at approximately KS1 ability level. The students are aged between 6 and 11, although their academic ability and individual needs will vary. The ideal SEN Teacher will either be an experienced Primary SEN Teacher or a mainstream Primary Teacher who is looking to transition into a specialist SEN setting. You will need to be nurturing, patient and confident adapting lessons to meet individual needs. Some children may display challenging behaviour, so strong behaviour management and the ability to create a calm, structured learning environment are essential.
