SEN Teacher

Job Title: SEN Teacher Location: Kirkham Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Start Date: ASAP Daily Rate: £130 to £232 per day (DOE) Are you a qualified teacher who wants to work with pupils who need something different from a mainstream classroom? Are you resilient, adaptable, and ready to make a real difference? We are recruiting a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a supportive school in Kirkham. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, working Monday to Friday during term time.

About the Role

As a SEN Teacher, you will lead learning for a small class or group of pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, and physical or sensory impairments. Class sizes are small and you will be supported by a team of experienced teaching assistants.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons matched to each pupil's starting point Work to EHCP outcomes and individual education plans Lead and direct a team of teaching assistants in your classroom Use positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques Track progress in small steps and report to parents and outside agencies

Who We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience of SEN, SEMH or alternative provision is an advantage Mainstream teachers keen to specialise are welcome to apply Early Career Teachers, ECTs are welcome to apply You must be:
