You could be working as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, supporting a small group, or working alongside the class teacher within a specialist SEN provision.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing consistent 1:1 or small-group support.
• Helping pupils access the curriculum.
• Supporting learning and classroom activities.
• Encouraging independence and life skills.
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
• Developing positive relationships with pupils.
• Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
• Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and wider pastoral teams.
• Providing a calm, safe and inclusive environment.

School experience is beneficial, but transferable experience can be equally valuable.

We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

• Confidence managing challenging situations.
• A professional approach to safeguarding.
• A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Team Teach experience is advantageous, and additional training can be discussed where appropriate.
