Key Roles & Responsibilities Specialist Pupil Support: Work closely with students presenting with severe, profound, and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) across daily classroom activities and sensory learning. Personalised Learning Environment: Assist in setting up safe, engaging, and highly adapted learning spaces tailored to individual EHCP requirements. Communication Support: Utilise specialised communication aids, sensory cues, and alternative interaction strategies to help pupils engage. Welfare & Personal Care: Support students with pastoral needs, physical mobility, and personal care with dignity and empathy. Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with class teachers, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. Person Specification & Requirements Experience: Previous professional background supporting children or adults with SEND, PMLD, complex learning difficulties, or care backgrounds.
