Job Description
SEN Teaching Assistant - SEMH - NG16
£100 - £110 per day | Full-time | September start
Class Mate is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs at a primary school in NG16.
This role would suit a calm, resilient Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships and provide consistent support throughout the school day.
The Role
- Support pupils with SEMH and additional needs
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Help pupils engage with classroom learning
- Support targeted interventions
- Work closely with teaching and SEND staff
We're Looking For
- Experience supporting children with SEND or SEMH
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Calm and consistent approach
- Ability to build positive relationships
- Good communication and teamwork
- Commitment to safeguarding
