Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Are you looking for flexible opportunities where you can make a meaningful difference in pupils' lives?
We are currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools and specialist settings throughout Leicester and the surrounding areas. Opportunities are available on a day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and part-time basis.

The Role
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Assist pupils in accessing learning activities and achieving their individual targets
- Support the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
- Adapt learning resources and activities to meet individual needs
- Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Requirements
- Have previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs within a school, childcare, or similar setting
- Be confident supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be adaptable, proactive, and reliable
- Be available to work school hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
