Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and supportive schools in Slough and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for passionate, caring, and dedicated individuals who have experience supporting children or adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN), whether through school-based roles, care work, residential settings, support work, or similar environments.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils access education and reach their full potential. You may work on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, or within specialist provisions supporting students with a range of needs including:

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

Adhd

Speech and Language Difficulties Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Needs Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties We have a variety of opportunities available, including:

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working with SEN, vulnerable individuals, or in a caring/support role A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills A genuine passion for supporting children and young people Ability to adapt to different school environments
