SEN Teaching Assistant - Wakefield

Full-Time Monday - Friday

Hours: 08:30am - 15:15pm

Start date - 2nd June 2026

We are looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs in a welcoming school in Wakefield.

The role involves providing 1:1 and small group support, helping students engage with learning, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment.

The afternoons will be spent in the rainbow room supporting pupils with ASD and Cognitive Special Educational Needs.

Requirements

Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable Patient, supportive, and reliable attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills.
