SEN Teaching Assistant

Academics are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work across schools in the Macclesfield area.

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and who can maintain a professional, positive and caring approach in the classroom. Roles can involve providing 1:1 support to pupils with SEN, as well as working with small groups across both mainstream educational settings.

Every pupil is different, so you will build a wealth of experience. You'll play an important role in understanding individual needs, providing tailored support and helping children develop their confidence, independence and learning.

We're looking for candidates with:

Previous experience supporting children within UK primary schools The ability to provide effective 1:1 and small-group support Specialist experience with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, behavioural needs or learning difficulties is desirable A patient, understanding and nurturing approach The ability to adapt to different school environments and individual pupil requirements A professional attitude and strong commitment to supporting children's developmentIf you're a confident and caring SEN Teaching Assistant who wants to make a genuine difference to children's lives and is happy to work across a variety of school settings, Academics would love to hear from you.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
