SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time | Southwark
Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a supportive Southwark school?
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and nurturing school on a full-time, 5-day-per-week basis. The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting pupils with special educational needs, alongside a strong understanding of SEN practice and a genuine commitment to helping every child reach their potential.
A degree is preferred, although relevant experience and a strong understanding of SEN will also be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN. Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team to implement individual learning and support plans. Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence. Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment. Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.What the School Offers:
