SEN Teaching Assistant - Immediate Start - Devizes

A welcoming and inclusive specialist school is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a full‑time, long‑term position.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will support children and young people aged 5‑16 with a range of additional needs including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, challenging behaviour and physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions.
- Support students with autism, communication needs, and emotional regulation.
- Help manage behaviour using positive behaviour strategies, de‑escalation techniques, and restorative approaches.
- Support pupils with classroom learning, daily routines, and sensory activities.
- Build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Help children develop social skills, confidence, independence and self‑esteem.
The school seeks a SEN Teaching Assistant who is compassionate, dedicated and passionate about working with SEN. Previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults would be beneficial but not essential.

Pay: £90 – £100 per day, PAYE.
Location: Devizes.
Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.
